Zoom Bleaching
Zoom whitening, also known as Phillips Zoom or Zoom WhiteSpeed, is an in-office teeth-whitening procedure. The procedure uses LED lights combined with hydrogen peroxide to whiten your teeth up to eight shades. A hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to the teeth, an overhead lamp then delivers UV light to the area, breaking down the activated gel. This allows oxygen to enter the enamel and dentin, bleaching the colored substances while leaving the structure of the teeth intact. With Zoom WhiteSpeed, 99% of patients experience little to no sensitivity. In a clinical study, Philips Zoom WhiteSpeed provided over 50 % better whitening results than another in-office treatment, both immediately following the procedure, a week later and after 30 days.
