Crown Lengthening Procedures

Crown lengthening is a common surgical procedure where our periodontist removes gum tissue, bone, or both to expose more of the tooth/teeth. It is usually done to improve a “gummy” smile, or to lengthen a tooth that appears short. This can be done to one tooth to even a patient's gum line, or to several teeth to expose a natural, broad smile.
